Ennis 2040 Abbey Street Masterplan

Led by the VHA Urban Design and Masterplanning team, this project focuses on the principle of creating a new public realm-oriented destination – one that is connected, competitive and creative in the historical heart of Ennis Town.

The VHA team fully recognise the opportunity the Abbey Street site presents, and acknowledge the importance of responding to context – particularly the heritage, historic, cultural and environmental assets of the site and locale. The Masterplan, supported by a suite of urban design led principles and a Vision, provides an integrated and co-ordinated approach for future development.

The Masterplan was prepared by VHA as a tool kit to assist and guide Ennis 2040 DAC in creating the future Abbey Street site.
