A former brownfield site within an established residential area, this residential scheme comprised of 54 no. 3 and 4 bed homes and a commercial development, measuring c. 30,000sqft. VHA, as part of a multi-disciplinary design team, was responsible for the design and delivery of high-quality A rated BER homes.

Within close proximity to the heart of Galway City, key design objectives for the project focussed on creating a distinctive sense of place, providing connectivity, and shaping a solution which ensured a strong sense of identity, diversity, all set within a high-quality public realm. Arranged along parallel homezone streets, all homes benefit from natural surveillance, daylight and sunlight. The amenity spaces are arranged as small pocket type parks and play areas.
