Spiddal Garda Station

As architects on the project, VHA were thrilled to have been an integral part of this development. The project involved demolishing the existing building and constructing a new garda station on the same site. The new, single-storey building of permanent construction is somewhat larger (6m2) and taller than the former pre-fabricated building and is fitted with ramps to facilitate disabled access. The facility has a welcoming reception area, office space, a canteen, and other essential amenities.

Our dedicated team poured their expertise and effort into crafting a design that caters specifically to the operational requirements of An Garda Síochána. It has been a rewarding experience contributing to this project, and we anticipate that the new Garda Station will serve the community admirably for years to come.
