This Starbucks fit-out explored the use of natural, recycled products and FSC Timber. As Starbucks have Environmental Design and is at the heart of what they do, that is why they have more LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) outlets than other brands. We explored the tangible benefits to be accrued from a more human-centred approach to the design and for this reason choose wood. Wood was selected for its inherent emotive qualities and for its ability to connect to inner feelings and sentiment etc.
