Sligo Credit Union

An award-winning project, this project was focussed on the refurbishment and redesign of the former Clarence Hotel to a new Credit Union headquarter building within the heart of Sligo City. A private residence by origin and dating to the early 1800’s, the building transitioned to a hotel and nightclub, in the form of the Clarence Hotel.

Ensuring the conservation of a heritage rich building, the overall refurbishment, measuring over 1,520sqm, provided the new headquarters for Sligo Credit Union and its financial services needs.  VHA provided Architectural and specialist Conservation Architectural services.
